Sheridan Neighborhood Organization has made a great gesture of support for the Northeast Minneapolis Arts District.
Its semi-annual fundraiser SNO Ball has historically raised money for neighborhood improvements, as well as for local nonprofit organizations. The SNO board of directors has announced that it will share a portion of the proceeds from SNO Ball 2020 with the Northeast Minneapolis Arts District. Having this neighborhood support is a huge benefit for the organization, both logistically and financially. Thank you, SNO!
SNO Ball will be held Saturday February 8, 2020 from 7:00 pm to midnight at the Food Building, 1401 Marshall St NE. The theme this year is “The Roaring 20s.” We hope artists will attend and get to know your neighbors better and have a blast at the same time!
Along with ticket sales, SNO Ball also holds a Silent Auction as part of the fundraising efforts. Your tax deductible donations [of items to be auctioned] are needed to make this event a success. The committee is requesting your donated item(s) no later than Saturday 1/25/20. Please drop off your donation at Eat My Words Bookstore, 214 13th Ave NE, during regular business hours (Sun 12-6, Mon-Sat 10-8). Along with your donation, please provide your contact information and the overall dollar value for tax purposes. You will receive a follow-up acknowledgement letter via email of your support for the Sheridan Neighborhood Organization after the event.
