To provide cheer and inspire community every day of the year, the Northeast Calendar returns for 2021. Artists of all mediums are welcome to submit images representing each of Northeast’s 14 neighborhoods, by September 10, 2020.
A total of $3,000 will be awarded, $200 per image with one image as the cover, at $400. The calendars will be distributed free through sponsoring businesses in December.
Northeast Community Development Corporation coordinates the calendar, and expresses a preference for active, colorful, beautiful and/or funny images that bring cheer and a feeling of togetherness, community. The art does not have to include a neighborhood landmark—the connection to a neighborhood could be simply that the artist producing it lives or works in the neighborhood for which it is submitted.
