Northeast Minneapolis Arts Association’s 10×10 Online Shop will will be launched to the public Saturday, Sept. 26 at 5 p.m. This virtual event will serve as both a fundraiser for NEMAA as well as a promotional and sales opportunity for NEMAA artists who donate work.
Deadline September 16, 2020. Artists may donate work through September 16, and those who donate before August 16 get first priority to appear in publicity.
All artworks will be available for purchase for $35.00, proceeds to benefit NEMAA. In keeping with the fun and mysterious nature of last year’s show, all available artwork will initially be displayed anonymously. Once a piece is purchased, it will be marked “sold” and the artist’s name and link to their artawhirl.org shop/profile will appear, directing viewers that like the work to explore and potentially purchase more of the artist’s work from their own site. Buyer information will be shared with the artist.
All current NEMAA members are invited to exhibit and donate original 2D and 3D artwork that fits within a 10×10-inch or 10x10x10-inch parameter. Members are encouraged to donate as many pieces as they would like, in any and all mediums.
Free Surfaces: Wet Paint is donating 10×10-inch canvas panels, wood panels, and watercolor paper to NEMAA artists creating work for 10×10 until August 16 (one month before deadline). Click here to order materials.
Submission: Please include one submission form for each piece of artwork being submitted (blank forms will be availabe in the NKB lobby). Please protect artwork for transit. NEMAA will be accepting artwork until Wednesday, September 16, 2020.
