Dean Trisko

My artwork reflects a search to make the fleeting allure of nature tangible. I am not trying to paint nature in my abstractions, I am trying to understand my yearning for an aesthetic experience, for beauty. To begin  my artwork, I observe and make studies of my surrounding. Then the processes of abstraction begins, I edit, simplify and exaggerate. The formal qualities of art (line, color, balance space etc.) become my language. through abstraction, I look to find my own sense of order and aesthetic captivation.
