I’ve been fascinated by flamingos and their long legs for many years.  I drew a series of them in flight and then transferred those drawings to clay.  I wanted to give them a fanciful place to fly around and decided to created a carousel a top a teapot.  I added slices of polymer clay millefiori designs many with aquatic themes to make a teapot that is not only functional but fantastical.
