The Northeast Minneapolis Arts District hosts “Art/Include/Act,” a virtual PechaKucha event. It’s Sunday, September 13, 2020, 7 p.m. via Zoom.
Artists are making news for helping express and heal recent and historical trauma. But bringing communities together through arts is a time-honored practice. “Art/Include/Act” looks at the social practice of involving community members’ voices through collaborative art-making. Visual and/or performing arts, temporary or permanent.
PechaKuchas are 20 slides, 20 seconds each. We’ll play a handful of these roughly 7-minute pre-recorded presentations. Audience Q-A discussion afterward with the artists/presenters.
