It’s been quite a summer! Arts have come outside with a new crop of murals. Northeast is getting noticed at all levels – chosen as a site for the Immersive Van Gogh experience, and like it or not, of interest to housing developers. In this month’s Arts District News we appeal to developers to integrate arts into their work. Among opportunities for artists currently: The Northeast Calendar is looking for images, and the University of St. Thomas offers marketing assistance. After you’ve digested this e-newsletter, consult our Arts Insights page in the September 8 Northeaster for another fun and informative map from Kenny Niemeyer, whose summer project for the Arts District’s Land Trust Task Force is wrapping up.
