Thanks to everyone who voted this past month for the USA Today’s 10Best Readers’ Choice Travel Awards. They will announce the winners on May 7th. We toggled back and forth between 1st, to 2nd and 3rd place over the entire voting period among 20 nominated Arts Districts throughout the country. To be in the top three is a testament to our engaged artists and community members who value their Arts District. The Northeast Minneapolis Arts District is not made up of large institutional organizations nor huge financial resources. We are 1,200 artists strong along with many city entities, neighborhoods, organizations and businesses who promoted through newsletters and social media to support the cause. Thank you all for your daily support and engagement. We look forward to the results.
