In this Northeast Minneapolis Arts District e-newsletter and the Arts Insights page (Northeaster newspaper, coming up May 6), we focus on what we’ve been doing since the organization's inception: Telling the story of the artist experience, showcasing artists as people with a special set of skills and observations that most people crave to understand.
What are artists creating, how do they think about the world through their art? The visual, auditory, and visceral experiences artists offer us on a daily basis have become even more valuable and apparent in our current circumstances. We believe there is no better source of healing than the expression that art has to offer us through images, the written word and the sounds of life.
|
As always we love discovering all of the works, the talent and the stories behind what makes the Northeast Minneapolis Arts District tick. If you have art to share, please send it to info@northeastminneapolisartsdistrict.org
