Please join us on Monday October 2nd at the Ritz Theater starting at 6pm with an after party at Rogue Buddha Gallery. We will honor five visionaries whose talents, passion and dedication to the Arts in the Minneapolis community and beyond.
The Vision Awards say “thank you!” to those who paved the path to create the Northeast Minneapolis Arts District, and those who continue working to support artists and sustain their livelihoods. It acknowledges the artists and business owners who came together, many who had been gentrified out of other Minneapolis neighborhoods, to work with politicians and city leaders, stressing the economic and philanthropic values that a thriving creative sector provides. The Vision Awards celebrate The Northeast Minneapolis Arts District’s uniqueness, its history and its future.

Fall gallery shows roundup

The season to see great art in galleries has arrived with a plethora of shows to see. Twin Cities Art Week wraps up Oct. 1 with gallery crawls, artist talks, film screenings and exhibition walk-throughs. Nov. 10-11-12 is Fall Open Studio weekend in Northeast
|

|
The Fall Open Studio Weekend, featuring several major art buildings in Northeast, will happen Friday, November 10 through Sunday, November 12 this year. Organized by NEMAA. Hours are generally 5-10 p.m. on Friday, Noon-8 p.m. Saturday, Noon-5 p.m. Sunday.
