Arts District News

July 1, 2023 - Issue 144

Dear reader,
Thank you to all those who voted for the Northeast Minneapolis Arts District as the best Arts District in the country. This is our third time for this honor and back to back in 2022 and 2023. It tells us that we have a large dedicated group of supporters who want to make sure everyone knows this Arts District is united. These types of awards are helpful to keep validating and learning who we are as a community. Our sheer size and scale are big factors in our success. We appreciate all of your efforts to show pride in your arts district.
Awards like this can give all arts district organizations and artists extra clout when asking for resources and opportunities. As we have seen in the past, arts organizations from around the country contact the Arts District to ask for advice to improve their arts communities. Business groups respect award winners and ask to partner with them. Many great opportunities lay ahead for the artists and the community as a whole. We look forward to continued success.
