Dear reader,
As Art A Whirl® reemerges from the pandemic hiatus the past two years everyone we talk to is looking forward to the huge delight it will be to see the artists and their studios once again. From many reports from artists new directions of their art will be shown. It will be a huge celebration of the resiliency of the artists and a chance for the community to see works that might reflect on the past couple of years of challenges. Thanks for NEMAA's diligence to put the event back together after these challenging years.

Dyani White Hawk’s work ‘Wopila | Lineage’ involved 20 people from White Hawk’s community beading what reads from afar as geometric swaths of color. Close up, the 14- by 8-foot beaded rows shimmer with quillwork texture.
