What is Open District?
Open District is an annual event which allows visitors to explore studio buildings, acquire original art as well as meet with local artists. Visit multiple artist studio buildings, galleries, restaurants, and shops over three days of concentrated activity. Presented the first Thursday – Sunday in November.
Open District boasts art-specific destinations and offers an unparalleled opportunity for patrons of the arts, collectors and enthusiasts of all levels of interest to meander and explore the streets, avenues, building corridors and studios of one of America’s greatest arts districts.
The atmosphere of Open District is festive and rich as guests from all over the metro take in the individual flair and flavor each studio building has to offer. Artwork representing every genre and medium is on display in the very place it’s made.
