Quincy Street NE Design Review Open House

Location: Northeast Recreation Center, 1530 Johnson Street NE
Last year, the reconstruction planning for Quincy Street NE was separated from the design of the other streets in the Logan Park Industrial Street Project. The initial designs for Quincy received a great deal of negative feedback during the public review period.
The delay has allowed additional time for the city and their design consultants to redesign Quincy Street in response to public comments.
The open house will provide the revised street concept for public review. Quincy Street is a unique place within the Northeast Minneapolis Arts District. Maintaining the street’s character while improving drainage, paving, bike access and pedestrian use requires creative solutions from the City. The April 8 open house is our opportunity to check in on the design process and continue our efforts to protect Quincy from the City’s standard streetscape solutions.
