Programs

The Northeast Minneapolis Arts District supports the following programs.

Arts Insights is a monthly page in the Northeaster newspaper spotlighting Northeast artists and arts-related trends and issues.

The Northeast Minneapolis Arts District has been working toward its largest public art project yet: the Central Avenue Art Walk—a welcoming, street-level pathway that invites visitors to explore studios, galleries, and public art across the District.

The Northeast Minneapolis Arts District hosts juried exhibitions in the Concourse C Art Gallery at MSP Airport, highlighting artists working across varied disciplines throughout the district.

Each year, the Northeast Minneapolis Arts District brings local creativity to the public with our beloved Northeast Calendar—a vibrant celebration of the artists who make our neighborhood extraordinary.

The most visible evidence of the existence of the Northeast Minneapolis Arts District is the multitude of street banners that wrap the arts district boundaries and are placed on major streets near arts buildings throughout the Northeast Minneapolis Arts District.
