Jodi Reeb’s series of aluminum and enamel sculptures started with a walk through a hardware store. She saw strips of textured aluminum and knew she could create something out of the material. What, she wasn’t sure. The pandemic lockdown provided her with the time to experiment with this new medium. The result is brightly colored artworks which Jodi bends and twists into organic forms. As with “Sky Blue,” Jodi Reeb usually chooses one color for each sculpture so she can focus on the chroma of each hue.
