Advocating for the Development you want

by Josh Blanc

With Quincy St upcoming redevelopment in 2026 the moment for artists projecting their voices and ideas. Artist involvement will be crucial to improve this project and guide it to an arts centered mindset. Most of the time when a developer has a plan the public just gets wind of it after it has already gone through zoning and planning stages. We get to argue for the crumbs of what can be changed. With the city they have a process that includes public input before decisions are finalized . This process allows artists to be at that table and ensure we get what we need to be successful in the future.
