Champion the legacy of the Minneapolis visual arts—past, present & future

The Roundtable Project is a new initiative of the Northeast Minneapolis Arts District.

The Minneapolis visual arts community is a diverse, enterprising, and vital part of the local economy and culture—but many of its stories are dispersed and disappearing as generations age. The Arts District Roundtable Project aims to create a forum where diverse, multi-generational leaders in the visual arts community can share their stories and vision. By documenting and publishing these conversations, in written or podcast format, the project will create a repository of content that traces the threads of the arts scene today. The vision is to build an arts coalition informed by a collective history and empowered to advocate for the support, funding, and infrastructure artists need to thrive.
